Hey there! I'm Katie, your go-to plant starter and flower-picking farmer here at Barry Farms NC. While we grow all sorts of plants and herbs (especially in the spring), flowers are my true passion. I’ve been doing this for what feels like forever (okay, maybe not the full 30 plus years of my life, but pretty close!)
Growing up on the farm, I quickly learned that fresh-cut flowers are a little piece of happiness the world could use more of. After a long day of working and being a mom, there's nothing quite like glancing over at my kitchen counter to see a vase filled with vibrant blooms. It’s like instant joy, not to mention they do a great job of hiding a messy kitchen!
